This is the first home Mike built after attaining his class "A" Builders License in Virginia. This home was site stick built in late 1991 through early 1992.
Mike and his crew personally did all of the masonry, carpentry, drywall, and painting on this home. The subs installed flooring, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. Mike and crew hands-on did all the other work to this home.
The house was in it's final phase of construction in these pictures. This is before the age of digital cameras. I had to scan these pictures in. A friend of mine who is a photographer took these pictures and this was the day he had free. Thus this phase of completion in the pictures.

The house is still under construction in these pictures but it gives you a good idea. The carpet is not down and some electrical plates need to be installed.

That is 3/4 thick Tongue & Groove cedar siding on the ceiling and three coats of polyurathane. Lots of sanding!

Solid wood doors.

This is the basement recroom. The carpet has not been installed yet.

This is the mid floor bathroom.

This is the shower in the master bath. The handles and spouts have not been installed yet. Notice there are shower heads and water controls on both sides of the shower. The shower cieling was too high to get it all in one picture.

This is the vanity in the master bathroom.

Master Bedroom: I wrapped the LVL in yellow pine boards that we stained and finished out. That is cedar in the sky lights.
